The collaboration between Foscarini and Marc Sadler begins with Kite, a floor lamp so innovative that won the 2001 Compasso d'Oro.

For Kite, the company and designer have developed a special material: a mixture of glass fiber and carbon yarn or Klelex®, which at the same time acts as decoration and bearing structure.

A technology already used for the production of fishing rods, oars and golf clubs, it is used for the first time in the world of lighting.

The extreme flexibility of this material - light and resistant at the same time - has allowed to design a whole collection of lamps for multiple uses.

Kite is born, the wall lamp that even in the form seems to copy a section of Mite's body, whose volume flattens slightly against the wall.

The light source uniformly illuminates the Kite diffuser, highlighting the decoration of the lamp and projecting downwards and upwards a bright and warm beam.

Marc Sadler is a French designer graduated in 1990 by the prestigious ENSCI Les Ateliers in Paris.
 
 Since his inception, Marc Sadler he has worked on many projects for important reference marks.
 
 Marc Sadler tries to find a balance in his projects, looking for an honest and generous way to manufacture and produce his designs. His work is based on pragmatic proposal between conciliation and pleasure in this economic outlook so difficult.
 
 In 2000, he founded his own studio, the studio Massaud and expands its projects in architecture and development of his own brand.
