I Llopis Jordi Freixas, born in Barcelona, has a RCA MA in Product Design at the Royal College of Art in London, and a BA in Industrial Design from the School of Design Elisava Barcelona.
Llopis created his own design studio in Barcelona after working on for design studios and companies. Since 2000, it has also worked with several major design companies and publishers like Bover; Metalarte; Grisverd; Leds-C4 and Faro.
Llopis has participated in important group exhibitions at international design events and their creations have also been shown in art galleries and museums. His works have been published in such national and international monographic and appears in prestigious journals.
As a teacher, has worked as a visiting professor at IED, BCD and Elisava. Collaborate in the UAA University of Aguascalientes Mexico and Lighting Design ESDI as a teacher.
Lifelight Your lamp is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Design in Barcelona.
Was a member of the Board of the ADI -FAD.
in 2012 creates a layout editor in the Alt Empordà, Brots (www.brots.org), for self-production studio design, sales and exhibition platform for external designers and promoting creativity.
in 2014 renewed the website to incorporate the collection designed and produced in Brots to be sold on the Internet and expand the sales network worldwide.
