An unprecedented set of transparencies, reflections and refractions allows the fluorescent light to diffuse an illumination of great visual impact. Three color filters and overlays allow to color the lamp. The radial structure of the transparent methacrylate slats covers the light source, preventing glare and dispersion of the luminous flux.
Agave Collection by Luceplan. A new perception of the luminous object, with light, material and color interacting through a play of transparency, reflection, refraction and diffusion. Thanks to the use of agave fluorescent light sources in domestic interiors is nowadays a possible and mature option, as far as both the technique and the aesthetics of the product, as well as the quality of the light emitted by the same.

Agave Luceplan Lamp


The parabolic, spherical or elliptical body of the lamp is formed by injection molded transparent methacrylate ribs. These, in addition to guarantee transparency and brightness, cover the focus to avoid dazzling and dispersion of luminous flux.

Its radial composition actually causes a dematerialization of the light source, while its rapid disassembly allows for easy maintenance.

A new Luceplan industrial patent. A set of (yellow, red and blue) filters makes it possible to more easily change the predominant color of the lamp and the light generated by it.

The parabolic suspension version is equipped with a multi-power electronic reactor.

Diego Rossi, designer Luceplan Agave

Diego Rossi, architect, specializing in design products and high-tech lighting with an experimental thesis prepared in collaboration with Luceplan Spa, 3M and Bomin solar research, the German research center dedicated to alternative energy sources.

Since January 2001, Luceplan has been working as a designer collaborating with Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto. Born in 1976, he obtained an honors degree in industrial design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
