Daniel Rybakken designer of Ascent

Daniel Rybakken was born in 1984 in Oslo, Norway. He graduated from the School of Architecture and Art School in Gothenburg, Sweden. After graduating from Fine Arts, Daniel Rybakken opened its own design studio in Oslo.

Daniel Rybakken is known for his designs and recognitions throughout his career. He has won the "Best of the Best" Red Dot Award in Singapore in 2007; The Anders Jahre's Cultural Prize for Young Talents in Oslo in 2008.

The work done Daniel Rybakken stands out for its balance between design and art, forming limited editions.

His main focus is to work with daylight and how to artificially recreate his appearance and its effect.
