The collaboration between Foscarini and Marc Sadler starts with Mite lamp foot so innovative it won the Compasso d'Oro 2001.

For Mite company and designer have developed a special patent: a mixture of fiberglass and carbon thread or Kevlar®, which simultaneously serves as decoration and supporting structure.

A technology already used for the production of fishing rods, paddles and golf clubs, used for the first time in the world of lighting.

Thanks to a set of internal parables, Mite ensures optimal lighting, projecting an intense and warm light beam towards the ceiling.

Floor lamp diffused and indirect light. Diffuser obtained with a traditional process in which the application of a cable yellow version Kevlar® and carbon black version of glass fabric is provided.

Metal inner shaft; the upper parabola brushed steel serves both locking rod diffuser as reflective light into the diffuser.

Base in nickel plated steel, transparent cable has a dimmer which serves both gradual dimmer as on / off switch.
